  1. Our relationship with St James’s Place Wealth Management plc.

Rainchq Ltd is an appointed representative introducer of St. James's Place Wealth Management Plc, a FTSE 100 wealth management company which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

This status means that rainchq is able to offer to its clients through their annual membership, an introduction to the qualified financial advice provided by St. James's Place. We may, entirely at our own discretion, make changes to this relationship at any time. 

  1. Eligibility for rainchq service

rainchq is currently only available to UK resident women and British expats in overseas territories. For further information on this please register your interest to speak to a member of the team who can help.

 You must be over 18 to use this service.

Our mission is to help more women take control of their financial futures and contribute to closing the gender investing gap.  We recognise however that our approach may work equally well with men as with women, so if this applies to you, and you think you could benefit from the rainchq service, please do get in touch.

If you are an existing St. James’s Place Wealth Management customer, you may be ineligible for a rainchq annual membership. Get in touch at hello@rainchq.com and we will discuss this with you further.

  1. Our use of Zoom

To maximise convenience and accessibility of our service to you, the financial advice sessions you will gain access to through your rainchq membership, provided by St. James's Place, will be made available to you via Zoom, a video conferencing tool, as well as face to face should you prefer.

You are not required to hold a Zoom account in order to receive your financial advice sessions via this method. A link to your financial adviser’s virtual meeting room will be sent to you ahead of each meeting.

Given the confidential nature of these discussions, please choose a quiet, private location, for example your home or a meeting room at work, to receive your financial advice.

 Your video call will be recorded so that the notes can be accurately transcribed and used to inform the recommendations offered by your financial adviser. All such information will be stored securely and held in accordance with GDPR rules as well as our privacy policy.

  1. Financial education

The articles and information made available through the rainmakers community hub at rainchq.com are provided for information and educational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. rainchq provides general information and does not attempt to provide personalised financial, legal, tax or other advice of any kind. You are advised to consult with a financial adviser, available as part of your rainchq annual membership, for advice on your specific circumstances.

The content made available via the members hub at rainchq.com is exclusively available to rainchq members only. Please refer to our user access policy for details of your rights and obligations with regard to accessing this content.

  1. Financial advice

The financial advice rainchq customers receive as part of their annual membership is facilitated through Rainchq Ltd’s status as appointed representative introducers to St James Place Wealth Management who will directly provide qualified and regulated financial advice to rainchq customers.

  1. Events

You will be eligible for one event pass for you and a friend to one rainchq event each year. Dates for these will be held entirely at rainchq’s discretion and we cannot part-reimburse you should you be unable to attend.

  1. Fees and charges

7.1 Fees to rainchq

You will pay to Rainchq Ltd, £300 for an annual membership which entitles you to access to two financial advice sessions with a qualified and regulated financial adviser, unlimited content available via the rainmakers hub at rainchq.com, and one event pass for you and a friend to one rainchq event each year. This is notwithstanding any promotional offers we may make available to customers from time to time, entirely at our own discretion.

Your payments will be processed via Stripe. We accept all major debit cards.

7.2 Fund management fees and charges

If you decide to invest with St. James's Place as a result of the financial plan agreed with you and the financial adviser you have been introduced to, the costs of the initial and ongoing advice are paid for out of your investment. The specific amount of the advice charge is set out in the personalised illustration that we will provide and discuss with you at the time you make your investment.

Minimum term.

Your rainchq annual membership does not bind you to a long term contractual arrangement either with Rainchq Ltd or with St. James’s Place over and above the duration of your one year service. Your annual subscription does not auto-renew unless agreed explicitly with you. This is notwithstanding any specific minimum term requirements of any funds/products/services you choose to invest in following advice from your financial adviser, entirely at your own discretion.

If you have a complaint about the financial advice you have received from
St. James's  Place, please speak with your financial adviser directly for a copy of their complaints policy.

  1. Refund policy

We take our mission to empower women in taking control of their financial futures, seriously. We’d be disappointed if we failed to meet your expectations. While we do not refund annual memberships, please do get in touch with our CEO directly at Davinia@rainchq.com if you are unhappy with any element of the service, and she will get in touch personally to agree a satisfactory resolution. This does not compromise your rights under the financial ombudsman scheme for the financial advice portion of your annual subscription. Please speak to your financial adviser directly for further details.
